So I am still a blogger, if any of you were wondering, since I haven't done a page in awhile. We have been so super busy, and of coarse I love all the business that comes our way. My parents came about a week after the girls Birthdays. We enjoyed every minute that they were here. Every morning at about 2:00am, Courtlynn would run and jump in bed with grandma and grandpa. The bed they were sleeping on is only a full size, and Courtlynn loves to sprawl out. So if you could only imagine the three of them in a full size bed. I wish I would have got a picture! She sure does love them! We went to the Zoo, to the childrens Museum, the Air Museum on base, met my dads cousin and his sweet family, and Barbecued. My favorite moments of having them here, was watching them play with there granddaughters. They are both amazing grandparents! They spoiled us rotten, it was so nice to have them come, and yes, so hard to say good-bye.
Danny's parents came up just a few weeks later, and boy were we happy to have them come our way! The moments of playing together at our house were priceless, we went to Tombstone, feed the ducks, road on a train, and barbecued. When went to feed the ducks, after words we found a sign that said, feeding ducks is prohibited. I am just going to pretend we never saw that darn sign. Hehehe, just so everyone knows I have always been one to break the rules! But if my kids ask, I have never done anything mischievous, always been a sweet girl :). It rained a good part of the time they were here so we had a lot of play days at home, which I don't think it could have been more fun. We played board games, kinect, dress up, had popcorn time, movie time. I wish they could have stayed longer!
Happy Easter to you all! I hope it was just as wonderful as our Easter was. The Day before Easter we went to a party at Bamma Park. There was and Easter egg hunt, the Easter bunny was there, and Courtlynn was so disappointed because it was not the real Easter bunny. She wanted to know where he was? I told her he was getting her Easter stuff ready. It was to late to go and try and find him, so next year we will find you Mr. Easter Bunny. There were a lot of fun activity's at the park for the kids to do. It was A lot of fun! In that same day, we came home I dyed Easter eggs, it was a blast. Both of the girls helped, and they turned out perfect! Easter morning was everything we had hoped it would be. We woke up, and the Easter Bunny had made it to our house! There were eggs everywhere, up and down the stairs, in the living room, family room, and Kitchen. We were so blessed this year, that the Easter Bunny brought two Easter baskets for both Girls! ( Thanks to both Grandma and Grandpa Davis and Stewart, for helping with our wonderful Easter surprise!) Oh and yes Macey our cute little dog also received a Easter basket of her own :) and she loved it! This was our first Easter with just our little family, it was perfect! For the first time ever I made a huge delicious ham, and lot's of good food to go with it. I loved the time I had with my family! Every Easter the Easter Bunny comes to our house, brings us treats, movies and fun things for the kids. We eat a good breakfast, chill and play as a family, hang out in our jammmers and watch movies and play games all day, and I love every minute of it! But Easter is not just about the Easter Bunny in our home. This day we remember Christ, the man who sacrificed so much, so that we could return to our heavenly father. We are truly grateful for him, and all he has done for my family and friends!
We made it to the fair and rode an elephant! Ate some good BBQ, but I am not going to lie. The Idaho State Fair is sooooooo much better! The good thing is we had a lot of fun, We all rode on some rides. Courtlynn won her self a prize by playing a fishy game, we were so proud of her. Danny said she did better than he could have done for her. So next time we will let our Courtie win all the prizes.
We also went to see the Desert Museum, it was pretty cool. Courtlynn did not like the cave, it scared her to death! So we told her next time she can bring a flash light, and then she was ok with it. We met some British friends while we were there, it was so funny cause the one guy had the biggest hole in the back of his pants, it was just apart of his style, so when you see a pic of a dudes bum, it's the British mans hole in his pants, hahaha, had to get a pic! It was oh so very hot this day, so we treated our self's to some nice cold ice cream. We saw a lot of cool things, it was nice to get out and about!
May 23rd was a big day for us! Happy Birthday Maraboo!!!! We drove up to Phoenix, said good-bye to our daddy, went though Air port security with two girls and three bags, which was so lovely! If you could just imagine. We hopped on the airplane and flew to Idaho Falls Idaho. Wahoo! We Made it, Courtlynn just lit up when we landed. It was so nice to see my family waiting for us at the Airport. As we were relaxing at my mom's for a bit, celebrating my baby sis Mari's Birthday, Miss Kaydrie decided she finally wanted to walk. It was so exciting, I called to tell Danny and He did not want to believe me. I was a bit bummed he didn't get to see it, it so crazy she decided it was time when we got to Idaho. I think it is because she loves to show off!
